The school day will run as normal and finish at normal times.

Annual Culture Festival

The children from St. Bernard's P.S. invite their parents, grandparents and friends to their annual festival of song, dance and percussion to be held in the school Assembly Hall at the following times:

Session One - 9.15am - Nursery am, Y1 and Y2

Session Two - 11.00am - Y3 and Y4

Session Three - 1.15pm - Nursery pm, Y5, Y6 and Y7.

School will be closed on Friday 17th March for St. Patrick's Day.

There will be a Mental Maths Workshop on Monday 6th March from 5pm - 6pm in the School Assembly Hall.

Mrs Dempsey will explain what mental maths measn and how you can help your child become a quick calculations whiz!

Please inform your child's teacher if you are planning on attending the workshop.

World Book Day

World Book Day will take place on Thursday 2nd March 2017.  On this day, your children can either dress up as their favourite book charcater, or bring in their dressing gowns, slippers and teddies to wear over their school uniform.

Champion Schools Award

What a day at iLearn 2017.

Champion Schools Award - the only NI school awarded this year and only 3rd NI school to achieve this.

Gold Teacher Award for Mrs Cruiks.

Silver Teacher Awards for Mrs Devine, Mr Meighan and Miss McGinn.

A special mention must go to all of the children and staff in our school for working extremely hard to help us collect the evidence for this award.#

Well done everyone!  'Dream, Believe, Achieve'.

Our year 7 pupils delivered an informative assembly this moring to our pupils about the importance of and how to stay safe while online.  Throughout the day, all year groups completed a range of activities about staying safe online and some of our parents participated in a parent workshop this afternoon.

Our character trait for this month is 'Diligence'.

During the month of February we develop the character trait of 'Diligence'.  In life it is important to be industrious and hardworking in order to succeed.  Jesus and his Apostles were always diligent and caring for others.  They worked tirelessly doing good, helping people in as many ways they could.
